My inspiration for becoming a Birth Doula came after having my daughter at home with a Midwife in January 2020. It was the most wonderful and empowering experience. I was shocked to learn that only 1% of people in the US give birth at home. My passion was ignited to help individuals remember their own power, know their options, and learn to trust themselves as they bring another soul into this world. I completed Birth Doula training through Bastyr in July of 2021. Since then, I have been honored to support families through home birth, out-of-hospital birth, hospital birth and VBAC.
I received my Massage Therapist education and license in 2018, which began my journey of learning about holistic health. The human body, mind and soul are wildly fascinating to me. In the 4 years I worked at a spa, I continued to witness the connection between the three. The energy exchange that occurs while working closely with individuals became apparent. I finally realized the importance of educating myself on this phenomenon- as well as learning to protect, ground and clear my own energy. This led into an interest of all things metaphysical. I became Reiki 1 & 2 certified in March 2022. Some of my hobbies include rockhounding, cooking, gardening, yoga, reading, dancing, and creating of any kind. Mom is without a doubt the most important title I've ever held and my absolute favorite.

My intention in birth work is to offer family-centered, intuitive and compassionate support. I only wish to bring grounding energy and to hold space for you during such a sacred and monumental time in your life.
